| The LOREO 3D Lens in a Cap turns a standard or digital SLR camera into a point-and-shoot 3D camera. It is lightweight and easy to carry around. Takes high quality 3D photographs in the side-by-side stereo format. This collection of photographs was taken in the winter of 2002. The 3D Lens in a Cap used was hand-assembled from parts, using the new lens designed after Photokina 2002. There have been significant improvements in image quality, particularly at f/11. The SLR camera used was a Canon EOS 300 on auto-exposure. It was an overcast day so outdoor exposure times ranged from 1/15 - 1/90 sec. The 3D Cap was set to f/11 for all shots. A mono-pod was used because ASA 200 film was in the camera to test the sharpness of the lens. Click on each image to view the enlargement.
